RODA – Modern Living, Designed for the Outdoors
RODA has long understood that “outdoors is the new indoors”. Over fifteen years ago, the company introduced its groundbreaking Network collection – a modular lounge concept featuring sofas, chaise longues, coffee tables, armchairs and poufs.
Created by founder Roberto Pompa, Network revolutionised the concept of garden furniture: combining the comfort and elegance of indoor pieces with the durability required for the outdoors. The name said it all – a system designed for connection, conversation and community: among friends, neighbours, family or colleagues.
Its weather-resistant materials – including outdoor-specific upholstery fabrics, special foam fillings, and advanced drainage systems – made the collection ideal for all-season outdoor living.

From Garden to Living Room – Furniture Without Boundaries
The launch of Network Dining followed soon after – complementing the lounge concept with a modular dining solution. Both collections remain staples in RODA’s portfolio and can be freely combined in countless configurations.
Whether for garden, patio, or even indoor use, RODA furniture invites users to decide where they relax, dine or work – without compromise.
Founded in 1990, RODA originally gained acclaim for its premium teak wood furniture and quickly became a trailblazer in Italy’s high-end outdoor design movement.
The RODA Aesthetic – Refined, Cosmopolitan, and Natural
Since 2004, the creative direction of RODA has been shaped by none other than Rodolfo Dordoni – renowned for his work with Minotti and one of Italy’s most respected design minds. His vision: a cosmopolitan, architectural outdoor aesthetic that merges seamlessly with nature.
He is joined by designer Gordon Guillaumier and colour stylist Gabriella Zech. Together, they’ve crafted a collection defined by harmonious lines, earthy tones, and material sophistication – a vision of outdoor living that feels both global and grounded.

Signature Details – Webbing, Weaves, and Weathered Textures
RODA’s design language is Mediterranean yet modern, natural yet engineered, and always inviting. Its craftsmanship comes through in woven straps, artisanal knots, and the interplay of textures that feel refined and relaxed at once.
This distinctive use of webbing and cords, in tones like tobacco, olive, and grey, gives seating structure and a handwoven character. Over time, exposure to the elements gives these materials a beautiful natural patina.
The signature straps are often paired with solid teak, stainless steel, natural stone, and plush cushions available in a wide range of outdoor fabrics and colours.
