MILANO 2025 – WHAT REMAINS, WHAT EMERGES

April in Milan. The city breathes design.
Between historic palazzi and futuristic showrooms, between espresso, discourse and fleeting encounters – a new epicentre of tomorrow’s interior narrative comes to life each year. Once again, Milano Design Week 2025 proved it’s more than a fair – it’s a manifesto. A global gathering of visionaries, brimming with fresh perspectives, bold design languages, and unexpected retrospectives.

LOOKING BACK TO MOVE FORWARD

So what lingers after this week? Above all: the feeling that we’ve entered a new chapter.

Revival wasn’t a trend – it was a stance. The return of the 1950s to 1970s wasn’t nostalgia, but reinterpretation. Familiar shapes, powerful hues, earthy textures – reimagined with intention: slower, functional, and consciously refined.

Red dominated the chromatic dialogue – from warm terracotta to rich plum. A statement of sorts: emotion, character and groundedness are welcome again. No high-gloss surfaces, but textures with depth. Surfaces with soul.

THREE TRENDS THAT STAYED WITH US

  1. Electric Energy
A contrast-heavy spectacle of luminosity. Neon tones, reflective textures, multisensory installations – Electric is bold, kinetic, almost euphoric. Where digital art, craftsmanship and atmosphere fuse into sensual interfaces. A style for spaces that speak – boldly, directly, optimistically.

  2. Neo-Primitive x Mid-Century Modern
Raw meets refined. Wood, clay, and stone merge with clean silhouettes and timeless mid-century echoes. The palette? Earthbound. The materials? Honest. For those who crave authenticity – with a taste for form and finesse.

  3. Honest Minimalism
Less – not as an aesthetic gesture, but as a conscious choice. Honest Minimalism is about clarity, durability, and a purposeful reduction. Natural materials. Simple geometries. Sustainable origins. A design ethos for a world that longs to slow down.

AND EGETEMEIER?

Observer. Curator. Confidant.
For us, Milan is never just inspiration – it’s resonance. We encounter not only objects, but attitudes. And reflect them through our own. At Egetemeier, interior is not a collection of pieces. It’s the expression of character.

Our spaces emerge from dialogue – with materials, with light, with people. We choose surfaces like others choose words. We curate not trends, but atmospheres.

Be it Carrara marble, patinated bronze or matte linen – we care about the story a material tells. The truth behind the impression. The stillness behind the effect.

Seeing design is good. Experiencing it – even better. Visit us and explore what interior means today.
