House B

Why build new when existing walls hold all the potential?

Because true design mastery emerges from dialogue with what already exists. Instead of demolition, we embrace transformation: In this case, energy-efficiently modernised walls evolved into a light-filled Gesamtkunstwerk.

VISIONS BECOME FORM, DESIRES TURN INTO SPACE

House B showcases our full-spectrum renovation expertise: From the first stroke on the blueprint to the final brass screw, our team of architects and interior designers was entrusted with every phase of the process. Radically opened floor plans, floor-to-ceiling glass elements, and a landscape-architectural reinterpretation of the garden and terrace have turned the building into a sun-drenched spatial sculpture – completed by bespoke furniture, curated art accents, and surfaces that breathe precision.

EVERY PIECE
A ONE-OF-A-KIND

Every detail in House B stands for artisanal exclusivity. The semi-spiral staircase – a delicate masterpiece crafted from bronzed brass, blackened steel, and solid oak treads – was created in close collaboration with a European metal artisan workshop blending tradition and avant-garde. Alongside the staircase, the pivot doors with freely selectable rotation points exemplify the philosophy: technical precision becomes a playful gesture.

In the open-plan living space, an oversized resin artwork by Draga & Aurel dominates the room – a statement of contemporary Italian design in shimmering pigments and organic forms. Iconic pieces like the Torii swivel armchair by Minotti meet the lightweight Ginger chair by Poltrona Frau, while the Bolle lamp by Gallotti & Radice floats like a Murano glass sculpture. Even the De Castelli sideboard, with its laser-perforated steel façade, testifies to a deep reverence for materials.

“House B is a laboratory of craftsmanship,” says the design team. “Whether local blacksmiths or Italian marble specialists – here, knowledge and passion merge into something unique.”

A TRIBUTE TO CRAFTSMANSHIP

Marble as living sculpture: The guest WC is crowned by a washbasin made from Calacatta Viola marble – handcrafted by Italian stonemasons. Selected directly at a Tuscan quarry, the marble's violet-gold veins resemble frozen landscapes. Every chisel mark was shaped using the traditional bocciardato technique, where hammer and chisel emphasise the natural texture without smoothing it away.

Light dramaturgy in the master bathroom: Beneath an XL skylight, the same marble now appears polished – encasing a freestanding bathtub and rising as a full-height shower backdrop. Combined with Roman travertine and frosted glass, the result is a wellness retreat where daylight redraws the veins hourly.

“True craftsmanship reveals itself in the unseen,” explains the design team, showing how materiality becomes narrative.

PRECISION AND INTUITION

The kitchen embodies our spatial and material philosophy: The espresso bar, made of bronzed brass and black-stained oak, is more than furniture – it's a statement. Each brass joint aligns seamlessly with the warm irregularity of hand-oiled oak grain. This dialogue between technical precision and organic tactility continues in the wall cladding and worktop made of Wachenzell dolomite, which a local stonemason transformed through four processing stages – from raw hewn stone to silky-smooth surface.

“Our formula for success? The symbiosis of German engineering precision and Italian sprezzatura,” says the design team. While the kitchen fronts were CNC-milled to the millimetre, the brass elements were shaped entirely by hand – every hammer blow an irreproducible moment. Even the dolomite, quarried in Bavaria, tells two stories: In the garden as a rugged boulder, indoors as a polished statement.

PERFECTION IN EVERY DETAIL – WHEN MATERIALS TELL STORIES

The solid oak doors in House B are silent poets: Their veneer flows in a rhythmic composition – two vertically stretched grains frame a horizontal centre panel, forming a wood relief in motion. A bronzed metal band wraps around like a delicate belt, anchoring the organic play with geometric precision. Each fine profile was custom-milled, oxidised, and satin-finished by hand to subtly echo the shimmer of Vervloet door handles.

“Here, craftsmanship becomes a tactile experience,” summarise the designers.

Outdoor Kitchen Area

Where the boundary between indoor and outdoor dissolves: Our custom-designed outdoor kitchen areas are both sculptural and functional. Whether clad in patinated brass, Dolomite stone or brushed stainless steel, they become natural extensions of the living space – designed for socialising, cooking, and creating moments beneath open skies.

Garden Pavillon

Crafted as a sanctuary in green: Our garden pavilions reinterpret traditional structures with contemporary lines, noble materials and a touch of poetry. Whether for lounging, dining, or retreating – these freestanding architectural statements merge landscape and lifestyle into one seamless design gesture.
