A Sculptural Statement – Where Geometry and Material Purity Converge

The Floating Island – A Minimalist Vision of Lounge Living
Horizonte draws a sharp yet serene line across the landscape of the living space – a floating island defined by clean geometry and sumptuous volume.
This new system from Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27 is built upon a slim, visually suspended base – wrapped in leather, fabric or a refined combination of both – that supports voluminous yet precise upholstery.
The true innovation lies in its exceptional softness without sacrificing structural clarity. Inside, multi-density polyurethane foam and embedded pocket springs ensure ergonomic comfort and shape memory – adapting to the user’s form, then returning to its original silhouette.
Horizonte’s deceptively simple form conceals refined architectural complexity: sloped backrests, integrated table modules, and asymmetrical compositions offer endless configurational possibilities.
In some modules, the base extends beyond the seating area to accommodate a side table – a seamless punctuation mark within the composition, executed in:
Canaletto walnut (Dark Brown tone)
Ash lacquered in Liquorice tone
Calacatta or Grigio Orobico marble
Matte Nero Marquina
Or brushed Belvedere granite
A system that weaves narrative into space, allowing modularity and materiality to speak in unison.
